Systems Engineer - Level 1 - Dept 02 - 014

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Work with a team of other principal and senior-level contributors to provide DevOps and production support for the GATEKEEPER product
  • Responsible for building, managing, and automating configurable GATEKEEPER product installations for customers

DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience with:

  • Support the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), collaborating with development and QA teams to assist with
    • System testing, validation, and performance tuning in support of production readiness
    • Ensure system compliance with security best practices and organizational standards
  • Soft Skills: excellent oral and written communication skills-Able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.
    • Comfortable in a team environment
  • Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML
    • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures
  • Knowledge of ICAM Capabilities and Integration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, testers, and product owners to align system behavior with business and technical requirements
  • Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
  • Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues

  • Windows operating systems (Linux would be desired as well)
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies and platforms
    • AWS Foundational Level Certification
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology
  • 5 (five) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • 15 years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
  • 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required if COR determines that the position's activities include CWIP activities
