JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide unique expertise to guide the assessment of IT system objectives and concept of operations
- Guides the identification of top-level systems requirements
- Prepares high-level systems architecture in terms of hardware, software, database and telecommunications components
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Design and test a range of software and technical solutions
- Use data modeling and analysis to inform and illustrate solutions
- Troubleshoot database performance issues and produce direct solutions and recommendations
- Provide, design, and technical consulting expertise for software development, software integration, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate and contribute on the creation, deployment and maintenance of technical best practices and standards
- Applies knowledge and understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling) to meet mission requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ten (10) years' experience as a Technical Consultant (TC) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification is required
