Que Technology Group is a small, minority-owned IT company based in Baltimore, MD. We have an internship program that is ongoing until graduation. This position is under the HR department with a focus on overseeing our internship program.
We provide real-world work experience to college students of all majors. The goal of the internship program is to serve as a bridge between the IT field and college students, while providing them opportunities to grow their skillset and receive mentoring guidance from the team.

The Internship Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Internship Program. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Taking the lead on ensuring the Internship Program is running smoothly and meeting strategic goals
Collaborating with Internship Administrative Coordinator on management duties
Collaborating with different departments in the company to generate intern tasking and to see how the internship program may be able to support those departments
Maintaining intern databases, Microsoft Teams site and other platforms used for the internship program
Monitoring intern performance to ensure they are meeting all internship requirements and staying in compliance
Collecting and analyzing feedback from the interns to brainstorm and plan new activities and initiatives
Serving as a coordinator between College Career Centers, Senior Staff, and Intern Alumni for internship initiatives
Ensuring all interns have meaningful and relevant work from week to week; gathering information on interns’ personal interests and incorporating that into the internship program
Assisting with sourcing and recruitment of interns as needed
Planning intern team events and outings to increase intern engagement and create meaningful one-on-one relationships between the interns and the team
Collaborating with the Internship Administrative Coordinator and Human Resources Department to brainstorm new internship initiatives, and to provide ongoing support to current initiatives by participating in weekly meetings
Formalizing Internship processes by way of creating Standard Operating Procedure documents
Overseeing Intern-Alumni Networking LinkedIn group
Overseeing the production of the Company Quarterly Newsletter
Completing onboarding for new hires
Assisting the Human Resources Department as needed
Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team setting
Experience in working with college students and alumni is a plus
Exceptional time management and organization skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Technical/IT experience is a plus
Takes initiative in all situations, both in working independently and in a team setting
Fast learner who can easily adapt to new situations and learn new skills
Open minded and creative thinker who will contribute new ideas to continue to grow internship program
Familiarity with Microsoft Office365 (Excel Online, Word Online, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, etc.)
Position Information:
$15.00/hour
15 hours per week
Flexible hours Mon-Fri
Location: Remote work - Must have a permanent home address in the states of MD or GA
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Must have a permanent address in a HubZone area and must provide address verification documents
Meet 15-hour per week commitment
60 hours per month requirement
Meet weekly report deadlines by 5pm each Friday
Submit timesheets by due date on a bi-weekly basis
