Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a motivated system engineer to work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web-based applications.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Documenting the full life cycle design, development and testing of policy-driven software across multiple fabrics. Looking for a candidate with a technical background with experience in troubleshooting and requirements gathering.
- Document the tool and inner workings to include creating standard system engineering and test documentation.
- Attention to detail is needed to test new software releases and document results.
- The candidate should have the ability to work directly with customers to identify and resolve user reported issues either by establishing alternative solutions or generating bug reports
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of 8 years.
- 3+ years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience generating standard system engineering and test documents
- Excellent written skills and experience in generating program/process related documents
- Working experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Wiki
- Experience in AWS (ability to navigate AWS dashboards & services)
- Experience working collaboratively with a team of developers, Contractors, and the Government
Preferred Qualifications:
- Analyze system requirements, the concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop requirements specifications
- Gather, analyze, and capture customer requirements
- Triage user issues
- Track and respond to user issues/questions
- Establish internal schedules and milestones
- Report weekly/monthly/quarterly status in a timely manner
- Document processes and provide deliverable to the government
- Provide meeting minutes
- Ability to test new configurations/software releases
- Coordinate and identify test users for various scenarios
- Track and report testing results
- Coordinate software deliveries with external organizations
- Contribute content for the development of high level documentation and guides
- Strong, Time Management skills
Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
