JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide Sr. Systems Engineering and Technical Support to the AdmitIT Implementation
- Work with existing ICAM capability teams to define requirements, develop architecture, and design documentation, perform technology assessments, and support risk mitigation assessments
- Provide hands-on support for managing configurations, assisting with installation troubleshooting, and cloud technologies
- Provide technical expertise in industry, federal standards/policies as well as create and maintain ICAM AdmitIT documentation to include release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in accordance with AdmitIT mandates
- Understand and work with technologies like JAVA, Kubernetes, SpringBoot, Docker, AWS, ElasticSearch, GITLab CI/CD, micro services architecture, REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Linux, Node.js, PKI/TLS/SSL certificates
- Research and analyze cloud security environments, assisting with Risk Management Framework and DoD accreditation packages and documentation, identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services, defining implementation processes, contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of the platform (Kubernetes), and outlining hardware and software considerations
- Must be able to assist the software developers with tracking and defining requirements, sprint planning/scheduling, design input/changes, and testing support
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with SW development methodologies
- Ability to solve complex system/integration problems
- Experience briefing senior-level management
- Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, developing CONOPS and system architectures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in working with Software Development, Test Engineers, and System Administration teams to establish capabilities that meet requirements
- Ability to facilitate meetings and brief technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Experience with developing program review materials
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be customer focused.
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA
- Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO and CUI Standards
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple applications are being developed and deployed simultaneously
- Must be able to adapt quickly to change and react to unexpected results
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work well within a team environment, be organized, and multi-task
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information
- 5 (five) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

15 years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar
scope, type and complexity is required
- 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required if COR determines that the position's activities include CWIP activities
